School of Nursing 

The Baccalaureate degree program in Nursing, Master's degree program in Nursing, and Doctor of Nursing Practice program at George Mason University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org). 
 
The School of Nursing pre-licensure degree program is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing, 9960 Maryland Drive, Suite 300, Henrico Virginia 23233-1463. 

School of Nursing Accreditation History 

  • The BSN and MSN degrees were first accredited by CCNE in 2004, and reaccredited by CCNE in 2014.
  • The DNP degree was first accredited by CCNE in 2012, and reaccredited by CCNE in 2014.
