Two College of Public Health Nursing graduate programs earn national rankings according to U.S. News and World Report

The College of Public Health is pleased to announce that two School of Nursing graduate programs are ranked within the top 50 of their discipline, as recognized in the most recent U.S. News & World Report rankings of graduate programs. 

Based on the 2024 rankings, the DNP rose 13 spots to #39. The MSN is ranked at #38. The MSN and DNP rank #21 and #28 respectively among public institutions. 

“Nurses play a vital role in impacting and advancing the public’s health in all communities, and Mason Nurses are needed now more than ever,” said Cheryl Oetjen, Interim Director of the School of Nursing. “With interdisciplinary, hands-on in-person and virtual reality training during all of our nursing programs, Mason Nurses become leaders and champions for their patients and public health.”
